I used the Stampin’ Up! Timeless Tropical stamp set bundle to create my card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. We’ve got a color challenge this week and here is what I created for it.
Here are the colors that we’re using this week:
My card design was inspired by Global Design Project #GDP234.
I started by adhering a panel of Come Sail Away DSP to a panel of Soft Suede card stock with SNAIL. Then I adhered the layered panel to a Soft Suede card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I punched the end of a panel of Tropical Oasis DSP with the Banner Triple Punch, then adhered it with SNAIL to the card front.
I stamped the flower image from the Timeless Tropical stamp set in Real Red ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock. I colored the image with the Light Real Red and Light Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Markers and then used the Color Lifter to lighten the image. I stamped the leaf image from the Timeless Tropical stamp set in Old Olive ink twice on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then colored the leaves with a Light Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Marker and the Color Lifter. I cut the leaves and flower out with the coordinating In The Tropics Dies and then adhered the leaves with Glue Dots and the flower with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.
I cut the sentiment from Gold Foil Sheets two times with one of the In The Tropics Dies and adhered them together and then to the flower with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I added three of the Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels (Yay!! They’re back in stock!!) around the sentiment to finish the card front.
I stamped the flower image from the Timeless Tropical stamp set two times in Real Red ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
