Stampin’ Up! Forever Blossoms Sweet Friend Card for the Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Welcome back to another Inkin’ Krew blog hop!  Our very talented team is doing a blog hop featuring Stampin’ Up! products.  This month we are all creating projects with a “celebrate the ladies/girls” theme and I’m featuring the Forever Blossoms stamp set bundle for my project.

The design for my card was inspired by My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge #484.

My card was also inspired by Tic Tac Toe Challenge #TTTC059.  My card goes across the top row and also down the right side.

I started by sponging the lower right area on a panel of Whisper White card stock with Coastal Cabana ink.  Then I adhered the sponged panel to a slightly larger panel of Whisper White card stock with SNAIL.  I adhered the layered panel to the front of a Thick Whisper White card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the larger floral image once and the small flower image three times from the Forever Blossoms in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock. I colored the flowers with Light and Dark Petal Pink, Soft Sea Foam and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Markers and then cut them out with the coordinating Cherry Blossoms Dies and then adhered them with Glue Dots to the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Honey Bee stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock, sprinkled it with Copper Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.  I punched the end of the sentiment panel and a small panel of Petal Pink designer paper from the Subtles 6″ x 6″ DSP pack with the Banner Triple Punch.  I adhered the banners together with SNAIL and then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added three Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels to finish the card front.

I stamped the larger floral image from the Forever Blossoms in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then colored the flowers with Light and Dark Petal Pink, Soft Sea Foam and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Markers to finish the inside of the card.

  1. Amy, What a lovely design! I love the softness of the flowers and the blended background a perfect compliment to finish off your card. A double whammy for the Tic Tac Toe board elements this week. Thank you for playing along with us this week.

  2. So pretty Amy! The sponging really highlights your single blossom stem and the banners are the perfect finishing touch. Thanks for playing along over at Tic-Tac-Toe this week!
