Stampin’ Up! Jar Of Flowers Birthday Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Jar Of Flowers stamp set bundle from the upcoming 2020-21 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog to create a birthday card to share with you today.

My card design was inspired by My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge #490.

My card also works for the Tic, Tac Toe Challenge TTTC065.  I went straight across the bottom row.

I started by adhering a panel of In Good Taste DSP (available June 3) to the front of a Crumb Cake card  base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I stamped the jar, flowers and flower stem images from the Jar Of Flowers photopolymer stamp set (available June 3) in Gray Granite ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.

I colored the images with Light and Dark Petal Pink, Mint Macaron, So Saffron and Pool Party Stampin’ Blends Markers.  Then I inked the solid side of the half jar image with Pool Party ink, stamped it on scrap paper and then stamped it over the original jar image.  I cut around the jar with one of the Stitched Rectangles Dies and then adhered the die cut to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped the sentiment from the Blossoms In Bloom photopolymer stamp set in VersaMark Ink on a panel of Petal Pink card stock, sprinkled it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.  I cut the panel with one of the Ornate Borders Dies and then adhered the die cut to a strip of Crumb Cake card stock and then to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered three of the Gold Glitter Enamel Dots to the card front to finish it.

I stamped the sentiment from the Itty Bitty Birthdays stamp set in Gray Granite in on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I inked the flower and jar images from the Jar Of Flowers stamp set in Gray Granite ink, stamped them on scrap paper and then stamped them along the edge of the panel to finish the inside of the card.

You can see a list of supplies used to create this card, including the card stock cuts, at the very bottom of this blog post.

I’ve created a printable PDF with written instructions and a list of products used to create this card.  You can download, print and/or save it by clicking this image:

  1. Beautiful card! I love the soft colors that you used. Do you know if any of the Jar of Love dies work with the jar image in the Jar of Friendship set?

    • Thanks Kimberly! The older jar dies do not coordinate with the new Jar Of Flowers stamp set. The flower pieces may be able to be used interchangeably, but the dies are a different size and shape.
