The Tag Buffet Project Kit and coordinating Tag Buffet stamp set from the upcoming Stampin’ Up! August-December Mini Catalog are awesome!! The tags are beautiful and are a bit larger, so they’re perfect to convert to cards for some quick and pretty Christmas cards!
To convert the pretty tags to cards, I simply cut some coordinating card bases from Real Red, Shaded Spruce and Garden Green card stocks and adhered the completed tags to the card fronts!
The Tag Buffet Project Kit is designed to create 30 beautiful tags with gold foil accents. These are what the assembled tags look like. They are a larger tags and measure approximately 3-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ when completed as the instructions indicate.
To convert the tags into cards, I made up the tags as the instructions stated by stamping the sentiments from the Tag Buffet stamp set in Real Red, Garden Green and Shaded Spruce inks. The only changes that I made were to the layering (I did not add a layer of Dimensionals under the die cut images) and to the gold twine (I tied a bow instead of a knot).
I adhered the two tag pieces together with Stampin’ Seal so that they were slightly off-set and then adhered them to the front of the card bases with Stampin’ Seal.
Now I’ve got a stack of 18 Christmas cards and 12 beautiful coordinating tags all finished up and ready to go for the holidays!
The Tag Buffet stamp set also has some great images and sentiments that can be used to stamp the inside of your holiday cards too! Christmas card making made easy!
The kit comes with this awesome coordinating box for storage or gifting.
If you’re giving the tags as a gift, simply place the completed tags in the box and tie a bow around it for a beautiful holiday present!
