Stampin’ Up! Warm Hugs Fall Mini Coffee Cups With Video Tutorial

I used the awesome new Warm Hugs stamp set bundle from the upcoming Stampin’ Up! August-December 2020 Mini Catalog to create a sweet treat holder for fall to share with you today!  I did a video tutorial for making this card on my Facebook page yesterday.  I’ve also uploaded it to my YouTube Channel so you can view it there too!

I thought that the fall colors in the Plaid Tidings 6″ x 6″ DSP (available Aug 4) pack would make a great “wrap” for the Mini Coffee Cup Carrier (available Aug 4)!  I started by adhering panels of Plaid Tidings DSP to panels of Mango Melody card stock with Stampin’ Seal+ and then to the Mini Coffee Cup Carrier on all 4 sides.

I cut panels of Rich Razzleberry and Mango Melody card stocks with the dies from the Warm Wraps Dies (available Aug 4) and then I embossed the Rich Razzleberry panels with one of the Wrapped In Texture Embossing Folders (available Aug 4).  I adhered the pieces together with Stampin’ Seal+ and then slid them around the Mini Coffee Cups (available Aug 4).

The tag was made by punching a panel of Rich Razzleberry card stock with the Fancy Tag Topper Punch and then embossing it with one of the Wrapped In Texture Embossing Folders.  I cut panels of Basic Black and Mango Melody card stocks with dies from the Warm Wraps Dies and adhered them together and to the tag with Stampin’ Seal+.

I stamped the sentiment from the Warm Hugs photopolymer stamp set (available Aug 4) in Rich Razzelberry ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and I cut it out with the coordinating Warm Wraps Die.  I stamped the mug from the Warm Hugs stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento and Mango Melody inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock and I cut it out with the coordinating Warm Wraps Die.  I adhered the die cut pieces to the tag with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals and then tied the tag to the Mini Coffee Carrier with 3/16″ Braided Linen Trim.  I tied one of the Acorn Trinkets (available Aug 4) to the Braided Linen Trim with Linen Thread to finish the tag.

  1. I love that you showed us how to do this. I was at a complete loss! i have a question, or maybe two. Someday are harder to understand then others. For our Mango Melody card stock, for the carrier, is it cut at,27/8″ X 1 7/8″ and 5 3/4″ X 1 7/8″, just for the backing of DSP for the carrier? I wanted to be sure, before I cut my papers.

    • Thanks Gloria! The papers that I used are cut to 1-13/16″ x 5-3/4″ and 1-13/16″ x 2-7/8″ panels. There were two of each so that they covered both ends and both sides. If you would like to use 1-7/8″ tall panels, you can do that…it will just have a wider border at the top. 🙂

  2. WONDERFUL tutorial/video… Thank you SO much! Love your color combos too and the “Fall” idea too. I’m a pumpkin spice fan, so this was perfect!
