Stampin’ Up! Hallows Night Magic Halloween Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Hallows Night Magic stamp set bundle from the upcoming August-December 2020 Mini Catalog to create a Halloween card to share with you today.

My card design is very loosely inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #445.  Okay…so you have to close one eye and turn your head just so to see it. 😉

I started by adhering a panel of Pretty Peacock card stock to the front of a Cajun Craze card base with Stampin’ Seal.  Then I adhered a panel of the Magic In This Night DSP (available Aug 4) to a panel of Basic Black card stock and then to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

I stamped the image from the Hallows Night Magic stamp set (available Aug 4) in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Pretty Peacock card stock and then cut around it with one of the coordinating Halloween Magic Dies (available Aug 4).  I adhered the die cut panel to a panel cut from Blackberry Bliss card stock with another die from the Halloween Magic Dies with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then adhered the layered die cuts to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

I stamped the sentiment from the Hallows Night Magic stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Cajun Craze card stock and then cut around it with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies.  I cut a panel of Black Glitter Paper with the border die from the Halloween Magic Dies, snipped off a small panel and then adhered it to the back of the sentiment die cut with Stampin’ Seal.  I adhered the layered sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Seal under the right side and a Stampin’ Dimensional under the left.

I cut the bat images from the Magic In This Night DSP with the coordinating Halloween Magic Dies and adhered them with Glue Dots to the card front.  I added three of the Iridescent Pearls (available Aug 4) around the sentiment to finish the card front.

I stamped the bat image from the Hallows Night Magic stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock to finish the inside of the card.

  1. Great card, Amy! I don’t usually bother with Halloween but I love this die set and the variety of bats. I am reconsidering!

  2. Does it worry you that we both used the same suite for the same challenge WITHOUT any communication!?! ROFL! Great card – love the DSP and the colors you’ve used with it! 🙂

    • Hahaha…I started out with an entirely different plan and then it morphed into this card. 😉 Thanks Linda!

  3. This is such a fun Halloween card! I love those label dies and the bats! Thanks for joining us this week at Freshly Made Sketches!
