Stampin’ Up! Poinsettia Petals Christmas Card

I used the beautiful Stampin’ Up! Poinsettia Petals stamp set bundle to make a Christmas card to share with you today.  I did a video tutorial for this project on YouTube Live and you can see it here.

A Happy Update:  We finally had the lights turn back on at our house last night at 9:40 PM!  I heard through the neighborhood grapevine that trucks from Alabama Power arrived to save the day…thank you to our friends down south!!  😀

I started by embossing a panel of Garden Green card stock with the Pinewood Planks 3D Embossing Folder.  I adhered the embossed panel to the front of a Garden Green card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I cut a panel of Poinsettia Place DSP with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies and I adhered the die cut panel to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

I stamped the pine bough image from the Poinsettia Petals stamp set in Garden Green ink on a panel of Garden Green card stock twice and then cut the images out with the coordinating Poinsettia Dies.  I cut panels of Old Olive, Whisper White and Brushed Metallic 12″ x 12″ card stocks with Poinsettia Dies.  I adhered the three layers of the Whisper White die cuts together with Glue Dots and to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Then I adhered the remaining die cuts with Glue Dots under the flower.  I added one of the Beaded Pearls to the flower center with a Glue Dot.

I stamped the sentiment from the Poinsettia Petals stamp set in Garden Green ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then cut it out with one of the Hippo & Friends Dies.  I adhered the die cut with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added five of the Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment and Poinsettia Petals stamp set in Garden Green and Sahara Sand inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock to finish the inside of the card.

You can see a list of supplies used to create this card, including the card stock cuts, at the very bottom of this blog post.
