Stampin’ Up! In The Pines Snowy Night Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! In The Pines stamp set to create a Thinking Of You card to share with you today.  This a “remake” of a card that I made a couple of years ago, you can see it on my blog here.  It was one of my all-time favorites, so I figured that it was time to make it again with some new things. 🙂

I started by sponging Pool Party, Misty Moonlight and Night Of Navy inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  Then I stamped the tree outline and fill-in images from the In The Pines photopolymer stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink across the panel.  Some are stamped full strength and others are stamped without reinking.

I tore about 1/4″ off the bottom of the stamped panel and then sponged a little more Night Of Navy ink across the newly torn area.  I stamped the snowflake image from the In The Pines stamp set several times across the top of the panel in Whisper White Craft Stampin’ Ink, let it dry and then I adhered the stamped panel to the front of a Thick Whisper White card base with Stampin’ Seal.

I stamped the sentiment from the In The Pines stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on the Thick Whisper White card base and then wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the card front twice and I tied a bow to finish the card front.

I stamped the medium pine tree outline and fill-in images from the In The Pines stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock to finish the inside of the card.

Inkin’ Krew World Card Making Day Facebook Event – Saturday, October 3!

Stampin’ Up! Get & Go Starter Kit Promotion – September 1-30!

The Get & Go Starter Kit promotion gives those who sign up to be a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator additional products to help get started right away!  In addition to the already great valued Starter Kit, you will receive precut paper, stamps, and embellishments to use either in your first event or to create a stash of pretty cards to share!

Here are the details:

  • Promotion Dates: September 1–30, 2020
