I used the Stampin’ Up! Poinsettia Petals stamp set and some of the Poinsettia Place DSP to create a Christmas card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday sketch challenge this week.

Here is the sketch that we’re using this week:

I started by embossing a panel of Crumb Cake card stock with the Pinewood Planks 3D Embossing Folder.  I adhered the embossed panel to the front of a Crumb Cake card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I cut panels of Poinsettia Place DSP (on sale for 15% off) with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies and I adhered the panels with Stampin’ Seal to the card front.

I adhered a length of Gold 3/8″ Metallic Ribbon to the card front with Stampin’ Seal and then stamped the sentiment from the Poinsettia Petals photopolymer stamp set in VersaMark Ink on a panel of Pear Pizzazz card stock and heat emboss the image with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder.

I cut the sentiment out with one of the Stitched Shapes Dies and then adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added three Gold Glitter Enamel Dots to the card front to finish it.

I stamped the sentiment and poinsettia image from the Poinsettia Petals stamp set in Crumb Cake and Pear Pizzazz inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
