Stampin’ Up! Life Is Beautiful For Sunday Stamps With Video Tutorial

I used the Stampin’ Up! Life Is Beautiful stamp set to create my card for the Sunday Stamps color challenge this week. I also did a video tutorial for this card and you can see it on my YouTube channel here.

Here are the colors for Sunday Stamps SSC241.  Be sure to stop by the challenge blog to play along too!

My card design was inspired by Global Design Project #GDP260.

I started by adhering a panel of In Good Taste DSP (on sale for 15% off) to the front of an Early Espresso card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I adhered a panel of Plaid Tidings DSP (on sale for 15% off) to a panel of Bumblebee card stock and then to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

I stamped the images from the Life is Beautiful photopolymer stamp set in Soft Suede, Pear Pizzazz, Garden Green, Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie and Bumblebee inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  For the leaf image, I used Sponge Daubers to apply Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie and Bumblebee inks to the various leaves before stamping them on the panel.  I cut around the image with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies and then adhered the panel to a panel of Early Espresso card stock and then to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

I adhered a length of Bumblebee 1/4″ Gingham Ribbon to the card front with Stampin’ Seal and then stamped the sentiment from the Life Is Beautiful stamp set in Bumblebee ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I cut around the sentiment with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies and then adhered the die cut sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I added three Gold Glitter Enamel Dots to finish the card.

I adhered a strip of the In Good Taste DSP to a panel of Whisper White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
