Stampin’ Up! In The Pines With A Merry Hello Christmas Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! In The Pines stamp set bundle to create a Christmas card to share with you today.  I did a video tutorial for making this card on my Facebook page yesterday and I’ve also uploaded it to my YouTube Channel so you can view it there too!

My card design was inspired by Mojo Monday #547.

I started by adhering a panel from the Poinsettia Place DSP (on sale for 15% off during October) to the front of a Soft Suede card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered another panel of Poinsettia Place DSP to a panel of Garden Green card stock and then to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.  I cut a panel of Poinsettia Place DSP with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies, snipped it in half and then adhered the pieces so that they were about 1″ apart on the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

I cut a panel of Whisper White card stock with one of the Tasteful Labels Dies and then stamped the snow image from the In The Pines photopolymer stamp set in Pool Party ink on the top 3/4 of the die cut.  I inked the “ground” image in Crumb Cake ink, stamped it on scrap paper and then stamped it on the lower area of the die cut.  Then I adhered the die cut with Stampin’ Seal to the card front.

I stamped the tree outline image from the In The Pines stamp set in Garden Green ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  Then I stamped the tree trunk image in Crumb Cake ink over the lower area.  I inked the “fill-in” tree image from the In The Pines stamp set in Garden Green ink, stamped it on scrap paper and then stamped it over the outline image.  I cut the tree out with the coordinating die from the Pinewood Dies and then adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I added several Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels over the tree image.

I adhered a small length of Poppy Parade ribbon from the All The Trimmings Ribbon Combo Pack in a “z” with Stampin’ Seal and then stamped the sentiment from the A Merry Hello host exclusive stamp set in Poppy Parade ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I cut the sentiment out with one of the Tasteful Labels Dies and adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front to finish it.

I stamped the sentiment from the A Merry Hello stamp set in Poppy Parade ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then added the tree line image from the In The Pines stamp set in Garden Green ink to finish the inside of the card.
