Stampin’ Up! Swirly Frames With Poinsettia Petals & Gather Together Cards

I used the awesome Stampin’ Up! Swirly Frames stamp set and the Poinsettia Petals and Gather Together stamp set bundles to make fall and Christmas cards with the same sketch!  I also did a video tutorial for this set of cards and you can see it on my YouTube channel here.

My card design was inspired by CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #392.

I started by stamping the circle stamp from the Swirly Frames photopolymer stamp set in Sahara Sand ink on two panels of Very Vanilla card stock.  After stamping those images, I turned one card into a Christmas card and one card into a fall card.

For the Christmas card, I stamped the greenery image from the Poinsettia Petals photopolymer stamp set five times over the stamped circle image in Garden Green ink.  Then I stamped the sentiment from the Poinsettia Petals stamp set in VersaMark Ink, sprinkled it with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and then heat embossed it.  I adhered the stamped panel to the front of one of the Gold Cards & Envelopes with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut six of the smallest poinsettia flowers from Real Red card stock with the Poinsettia Dies.  I adhered the die cuts together and to the card front with Glue Dots.  I colored nine of the smallest Rhinestone Basic Jewels with the Dark Mango Melody Stampin’ Blends Marker and added them to the flower centers to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment and poinsettia images from the Poinsettia Petals stamp set in Sahara Sand ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock to finish the inside of the card.

For the fall card, I stamped the wheat images from the Gather Together photopolymer stamp set in Bumblebee ink four times over the stamped circle on the Very Vanilla panel.  Then I stamped the sentiment from the Sending Sunshine photopolymer stamp set in VersaMark Ink, sprinkled it with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.  I adhered the stamped panel to the front of one of the Gold Cards & Envelopes with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the pumpkin images from the Gather Together stamp set in Sahara Sand ink and colored them with Light and Dark Pumpkin Pie, Mango Melody and Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the images out with the coordinating dies from the Gathered Leaves Dies and then adhered them with Glue Dots to the card front.  I colored three of the smallest Rhinestone Basic Jewels with the Dark Mango Melody Stampin’ Blends Marker and then adhered them around the pumpkins to finish the card front.

I stamped the pumpkin images from the Gather Together stamp set in Sahara Sand ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock to finish the inside of the card.
