Stampin’ Up! Coming Home With Poinsettia Petals Christmas Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Poinsettia Petals stamp set and the Coming Home stamp set bundle to create my card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Here is the sketch that we’re using this week:

I started by embossing a panel of Misty Moonlight card stock with the Winter Snow Embossing Folder.  I adhered the embossed panel to the front of a Misty Moonlight card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I punched the end of a strip of Trimming The Town DSP (on sale during October for 15% off) with the Triple Banner Punch and I adhered the banner to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

I cut a panel of Trimming The Town DSP with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies.  Then I cut two panels of Whisper White card stock with the two hill dies from the Home Together Dies.  I cut the die cuts a second time with the same Stitched Rectangle Die that I’d used on the DSP panel and then adhered the die cut snow to the larger DSP panel with Stampin’ Seal.  I cut panels of Trimming The Town DSP with the coordinating Home Together Dies to cut the house, trees and wreath images and then I adhered the die cuts to the larger panel with Glue Dots.

I stamped the sentiment from the Poinsettia Petals photopolymer stamp set in Poppy Parade ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then cut it out with one of the Hippo & Friends Dies.  I adhered the die cut sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the larger panel and then adhered the larger panel with Stampin’ Seal to the card front.  I added three of the All The Trimmings Embellishments to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Poinsettia Petals stamp set in Misty Moonlight ink and then stamped three trees from the Coming Home phototopolymer stamp set on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I colored the trees with Light and Dark Old Olive and Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends Markers to finish the inside of the card.
