I used the Stampin’ Up! Curvy Christmas stamp set and coordinating Curvy Dies that will be available beginning on Tuesday, November 3 to make a Christmas card to share today. I also did a video tutorial for this card and you can see it on my YouTube channel here.
My card design was loosely inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #459.
I started by adhering a panel of Classic Christmas 6″ x 6″ DSP (available Nov 3) to the front of a Cherry Cobbler card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then I cut another panel of the Classic Christmas DSP with one of the Curvy Dies (available Nov 3). I placed the die cut DSP panel over a panel of Just Jade card stock so that I could line up the tree image with the curve in the DSP. I stamped the tree image from the Curvy Christmas photopolymer stamp set (available Nov 3) in Shaded Spruce ink on the panel of Just Jade card stock. I adhered the die cut DSP to the Just Jade card stock panel with Stampin’ Seal.
I stamped the sentiment from the Curvy Christmas stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Sahara Sand card stock, sprinkled it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and then heat embossed it. I cut the stamped panel with the same Curvy Die that I’d cut the DSP panel with and then I adhered the Sahara Sand die cut panel to the card front with Stampin’ Seal. I trimmed the edges so that the final size of the panel was 3-5/8″ x 4-7/8″ and then I adhered the layered panel to a panel of Shaded Spruce card stock with Stampin’ Seal.
I stamped the bow image from the Curvy Christmas stamp set on the Sahara Sand card stock panel in Cherry Cobbler ink and then inked the snowflake image in Just Jade ink, stamped it on scrap paper and then stamped it over the Just Jade panel several times. I adhered the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added a Cherry Cobbler rhinestone from the Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels pack to finish the card front.
I stamped the sentiment from the Curvy Christmas stamp set in Just Jade ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then added a strip of the Classic Christmas card stock to finish the inside of the card.
