Stampin’ Up! Poinsettia Petals Holiday Gift Box With Video Tutorial

I used the Stampin’ Up! Poinsettia Petals stamp set bundle and one of the Gold Mini Pizza Boxes to create a holiday gift box to share with you today.  I also did a video tutorial for this card and you can see it on my Facebook page here and on my YouTube channel here.

I started by assembling one of the Gold Mini Pizza Boxes.  Then I wrapped a length of Shaded Spruce ribbon from the Wonder Of The Season Ribbon Combo Pack around the box and adhered it together on top (hidden under the flower) with Stampin’ Seal+.  I adhered one of the Square Vellum Doilies to the ribbon with Stampin’ Seal+.

I cut a panel of Red Velvet Paper with the three large flower and embossing dies from the Poinsettia Dies and I adhered the die cut pieces together with Glue Dots.  I adhered the layered flower to the box with Stampin’ Dimensionals just in the center.  I added one of the Beaded Pearls to the top of the poinsettia with a Glue Dot to adhere it.  I cut a panel of Garden Green card stock with two leaf and embossing dies from the Poinsettia Dies and then adhered them under the poinsettia with Glue Dots.

I cut sprigs from Brushed Metallic 12″ x 12″ Cardstock, trimmed the ends down a bit and then adhered them under the poinsettia with Glue Dots.  I stamped the berry image from the Poinsettia Petals photopolymer stamp set two times in Soft Suede ink and then colored the berries with Light and Dark Real Red Stampin’ Blends Markers (you can also use the image from the stamp set and stamp them in Real Red ink too!).  I cut the berries with the coordinating Poinsettia Dies and adhered them under the poinsettia with Glue Dots.

I stamped the sentiment from the Poinsettia Petals stamp set in Real Red ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then cut it out with one of the Hippo & Friends Dies.  I adhered the die cut sentiment under the poinsettia with Glue Dots.

If the Glue Dots are placed correctly, the ribbon band should slide on and off the box without having to take it apart. 🙂
