I used the Stampin’ Up! Joyful Holly stamp set to create a Christmas card for the Fab Friday sketch challenge this week.
Here is the sketch for Fab Friday 201. Be sure to stop by the challenge blog to play along too!
I started by adhering a panel from the Toile Tidings DSP pack to the front of a Thick Very Vanilla card base with Stampin’ Seal. Then I embossed a panel of Real Red card stock with one of the Wrapped In Texture Embossing Folders. I punched the end of the panel with the Banner Triple Punch and adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.
I stamped a panel of Very Vanilla card stock with the holly images from the Joyful Holly photopolymer stamp set in Garden Green, Pear Pizzazz and Real Red inks. I punched the end of the panel with the Banner Triple Punch and then adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Seal. I punched both ends of a strip of Pear Pizzazz card stock with the Banners Pick A Punch and adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Seal. The I cut a panel of Brushed Metallic 12″ x 12″ Cardstock with one of the Stitched Shapes Dies and I adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.
I stamped the sentiment from the Joyful Holly stamp set in VersaMark Ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock, sprinkled it with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it. I cut the sentiment out with one of the Tasteful Labels Dies and adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front. I tied a small bow with Poppy Parade Ribbon from the All The Trimmings Ribbon Combo Pack and adhered it with a rolled up Glue Dot to the card front. I added three of the Wonderful Gems to finish the card.
I stamped the sentiment and holly images from the Joyful Holly stamp set in Garden Green, Pear Pizzazz and Real Red inks on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock to finish the inside of the card.

Amy,
Congratulations on your SU! accomplishments for 2020. Very impressive!
I got here today as part of the FabFriday Sketch Challenge. I have always loved holly. Growing up in the “frozen north”, it was just a Christmas thing. It wasn’t until we moved way south to Georgia that I actually saw them growing. Anyway, love your version of the sketch.
Thank you! Suzie from SW Florida🌸🌴🦋
Thanks so much Suzie!! We had holly at our first house in GA too, so pretty! 🙂
