Stampin’ Up! Poinsettia Petals CAS Plaid Christmas Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Poinsettia Petals stamp set and some of the Plaid Tidings 6″ x 6″ DSP to create a super fast Christmas Card to share with you today.  As an added bonus, this card can be mailed with just one stamp!

My card design was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #460.

I started by embossing a panel of Cherry Cobbler card stock with the Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder.  Then I adhered the panel to the front of a Cherry Cobbler card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I punched the end of a wide panel of Plaid Tidings 6″ x 6″ DSP with the Banner Triple Punch and then snipped the excess from the banner ends (the panel was slightly wider than the punch).  I adhered the banner to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.  Then I cut a panel of Brushed Metallic Foil Sheets with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies and I adhered the die cut to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

I stamped the sentiment from the Poinsettia Petals stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Shaded Spruce card stock, sprinkled it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and then heat embossed it.  I cut the sentiment out with one of the Ornate Layers Dies and then adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.  I adhered three Gold Glitter Enamel Dots to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Poinsettia Petals stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then added a strip of the Plaid Tidings DSP to finish the inside of the card.
