Stampin’ Up! Curvy Christmas Card for the Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Welcome back to another Inkin’ Krew blog hop!  Our very talented team is doing a blog hop featuring Stampin’ Up! products.  This month we are all creating projects with a “Christmas or Happy Holidays” theme and I’m featuring the Curvy Christmas stamp set for my project.

My card design was inspired by the sketch for SugarPea Designs Mix It Up Challenge SPDMIX73.

I started by cutting a panel of Classic Christmas 6″ x 6″ DSP with one of the Curvy Dies.  I placed the die cut pieces over a panel of Whisper White card stock and used the edges of the die cuts as my guide for stamping the tree line and star images from the Curvy Christmas photopolymer stamp set in Shaded Spruce and Sahara Sand inks on the Whisper White card stock panel.

After letting the two stamped images dry completely, I stamped the sentiment from the Curvy Christmas stamp set in VersaMark ink on the Whisper White card stock panel, sprinkled it with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and then heat embossed it.  I cut a panel of Shaded Spruce card stock with the dotted die from the Curvy Dies and then adhered the three die cut panels to the Whisper White card stock panel with Stampin’ Seal.

I trimmed down the die cuts to fit the 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″ Whisper White card stock panel and then adhered the layered panel to a Shaded Spruce card stock panel with Stampin’ Seal.  I adhered the layered card front to a Cherry Cobbler card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added Gold Glitter Enamel Dots around the stars to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Curvy Christmas stamp set in Shaded Spruce ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then added a strip of Classic Christmas DSP to finish the inside of the card.

  1. So cute Amy 🙂 Love the Curvy Christmas set and how whimsical the cards look. Love how you used the 2 different dies together, dots on bottom and flourish on top. Perfect colors and design
