Stampin’ Up! Poinsettia Petals Christmas Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Poinsettia Petals stamp set bundle and the beautiful Poinsettia Place DSP to create a Christmas card to share today.

My card design was inspired by Mojo Monday 549.

I started by adhering a panel of Poinsettia Petals DSP to the front of a Soft Suede card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I cut a panel of Real Red card stock with the scalloped edge die from the Be Mine Stitched Dies and I adhered the die cut to the back of a panel of Poinsettia Place DSP with Stampin’ Seal.  I adhered the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

I cut panels of Poinsettia Place DSP with the coordinating flower and berry die from the Poinsettia Dies.  I adhered the die cut flower with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the berries with Glue Dots to the card front.  I stamped the leaf and pine bough images in Garden Green and Old Olive inks on coordinating card stocks and then cut them out with the Poinsettia Dies.  I adhered the die cuts to the card front with Glue Dots.

I stamped the sentiment from the Poinsettia Petals photopolymer stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Real Red card stock, sprinkled it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and then heat embossed it.  I cut the sentiment out with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies and then tied a length of Linen Thread around the die cut.  I adhered the sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added three Gold Glitter Enamel Dots to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Poinsettia Petals stamp set in Real Red ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then adhered a strip of Poinsettia Place DSP to finish the inside of the card.

You can see a list of supplies used to create this card, including the card stock cuts, at the very bottom of this blog post.
