Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Birthdays & Itty Bitty Christmas CAS Cards

I pulled out the pretty Feels Like Frost 6″ x 6″ Speciality DSP from Stampin’ Up! to create some birthday cards and a Christmas card too!  I used the same basic design, just changed up the colors and sentiments using the Itty Bitty Birthdays and Itty Bitty Christmas stamp sets.

My basic card design was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #461.

Once I pulled out the pack of Feels Like Frost DSP…I couldn’t stop at just one card!  So I made 4 different designs!

I started by adhering strips of Feels Like Frost DSP to panels of Silver Foil Sheets with Stampin’ Seal.  Then I adhered larger panels of Feels Like Frost DSP to the Silver Foil Sheets panels with Stampin’ Seal.  I adhered the layered panels to the Purple Posy, Night of Navy and Seaside Spray card bases with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I looped Linen Thread on the card fronts and adhered the thread with Glue Dots.  Then I stamped the sentiments from the Itty Bitty Birthdays and Itty Bitty Christmas stamp sets in VersaMark Ink on Whisper White card stock and heat embossed the sentiments with Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder.  I cut the sentiments out with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies and adhered the sentiments with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card fronts.

I adhered a Rhinestone Basic Jewel next to each sentiment to finish the card fronts.  Super simple and so pretty!

And because the DSP panels are cut to 3″ x 4-7/8″, I could get two cards from each panel!

I stamped the sentiments from the Itty Bitty Christmas and Itty Bitty Birthdays stamp sets in Highland Heather, Night of Navy and Seaside Spray inks on panels of Whisper White card stock.  Then I added the tree line image from the In The Pines photopolymer stamp set and the floral image from the Queen Anne’s Lace photopolymer stamp set in Smoky Slate ink to finish the insides of the cards.

  1. That beautiful paper makes beautiful cards. I like how you let the paper do the work! I need to use more of that paper so thanks for this great idea!

  2. I have just a few small pieces of this DSP left….on my desk as we speak! I love the side stripes and am so going to “borrow” this idea…
.whew that will be a few more to add to my small stash!
