Stampin’ Up! Freezin’ Fun Birthday Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Freezin’ Fun stamp set bundle to create a fun winter birthday card to share with you today.

My card works for the Tic Tac Toe Challenge TTTC090.  I went straight across the top and down the left side.  🙂

I started by adhering a panel from the Plaid Tidings 6″ x 6″ DSP pack to the front of a Pretty Peacock card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the card front twice and tied a bow.

I cut a panel of Whisper White card stock with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies and I used one of the new Blending Brushes (available Jan 5) to add Pool Party ink to the panel.  Then I inked the snow image from the In The Pines photopolymer stamp set in Pool Party ink, stamped it on scrap paper and then stamped it across the die cut panel.  I cut two other panels of Whisper White card stock with the slope die from the Freezin’ Friends Dies and then with the same Stitched Rectangle Die that was used for the first rectangle.  I adhered the three die cut rectangles together with Stampin’ Seal.

I stamped the bunny and tree images from the Freezin’ Fun stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then colored them with Light and Dark Shaded Spruce, Crumb Cake, Petal Pink, Pool Party and Gray Granite Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the images out with the coordinating Freezin’ Friends Dies and adhered them with Glue Dots to the Stitched Rectangle panels.

I adhered the layered panel to the front of the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then stamped the sentiment from the Freezin’ Fun stamp set in Pretty Peacock ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I cut the image out with one of the Stitched Shapes Dies and adhered it with Stampin’ Seal to the card front.  I added seven of the Snowflake Adhesive-Backed Embellishments to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiments from the Happiest of Birthdays and Zany Zebras stamp sets in Pretty Peacock ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then added a strip of Plaid Tidings DSP to finish the inside of the card.

  1. That bunny looks like he’s having a ton of outside skiing fun Amy – I love it! A fabulous plaid border too. Thanks for sharing your card and playing along with us over at Tic Tac Toe Challenge this week!
