Stampin’ Up! In The Pines for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! In The Pines stamp set bundle to create my card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Here is the sketch that we’re using this week:

I started by adhering a panel of Plaid Tidings 6″ x 6″ DSP to a panel of Cherry Cobbler card stock with Stampin’ Seal.  Then I adhered the layered panel to the front of a Shaded Spruce card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut a panel of Red & Green Foil Sheets with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies twice.  I cut one of the panels in half and adhered the two panels so that they were about 1/2″ from the top and bottom of the Plaid Tidings panel.  I adhered the second foil die cut with Stampin’ Seal so that it covered the gap in the middle.

I cut a panel of Whisper White card stock with both the Pine Wood Dies and one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies.  Then I stamped the panel with the sentiment from the In The Pines photopolymer stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink on the die cut panel and I adhered the die cut to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added three Gold Glitter Enamel Dots around the sentiment to finish the card front.

I stamped the tree images from the In The Pines stamp set in Shaded Spruce ink (stamped off once for the inside part of the tree) on Whisper White card stock and then added the sentiment from the Merry Moose photopolymer stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink next to the tree to finish the inside of the card.
