Stampin’ Up! Merry Moose Christmas Card for Sunday Stamps

I used the Stampin’ Up! Merry Moose stamp set bundle to create a Christmas card for the Sunday Stamps color challenge this week.

Here are the colors for Sunday Stamps SSC245.  Be sure to stop by the challenge blog to play along too!

My card design was inspired by Global Design Project #GDP268.

I started by adhering a panel from the In Good Taste DSP pack to the front of an Early Espresso card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I adhered a panel of ‘Tis The Season 6″ x 6″ DSP to a panel of Cherry Cobbler card stock and to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

I stamped the tree images from the In The Pines photopolymer stamp set in Garden Green and Shaded Spruce (stamped off once for the fill-in images) inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I cut the trees out with the coordinating Pine Woods Dies and adhered two of the die cuts with Glue Dots to the card front.  I adhered one of the Gold Hoops Embellishments with Glue Dots to the card front and then adhered the third tree die cut over the hoop with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Merry Moose stamp set in Early Espresso ink on a strip of Crumb Cake card stock.  I punched the end of the panel with the Banners Pick A Punch and then adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I stamped the moose image from the Merry Moose photopolymer stamp set in Early Espresso ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then colored the image with the Light and Dark Soft Suede and Ivory Stampin’ Blends Markers.

I punched the moose out with the Moose Punch and adhered it with Glue Dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I stamped the scarf from the Merry Moose stamp set in Rich Razzleberry ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then snipped it out.  I adhered the scarf to the moose with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I colored three Rhinestone Basic Jewels with the Dark Blackberry Bliss Stampin’ Blends Marker and I adhered the gems to the card front to finish it.

I stamped the sentiment from the Merry Moose stamp set in Early Espresso ink and the trees from the In The Pines stamp set in Garden Green and Shaded Spruce inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock to finish the inside of the card.

  1. Amy, I just love the moose with the scarf! He, and the plaid background, make this one comfy, cozy Christmas card! Love all the dimension with the trees in the background and the gold circle to center all the elements.
