I used the Stampin’ Up! Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set bundle from the upcoming January-June 2021 Mini Catalog to create a birthday card to share with you today.  I also did a video tutorial for this project and you can see it on my YouTube channel here.

I started by adhering a panel from the Sand & Sea DSP (available Jan 5) to the front of a Seaside Spray card base with Stampin’ Seal.  Then I cut a panel of Pearlescent Specialty Paper (available Jan 5) with one of the Seaside Seashells Dies.  I stamped the seashell images from the Friends Are Like Seashells photopolymer stamp set (available Jan 5) in Blushing Bride, So Saffron and Sahara Sand inks on the die cut panel.

I used the Dark Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends Marker to color the seaweed images around the stamped shells.  Then I embossed the die cut with the coordinating Seashells 3D Embossing Folder (available Jan 5).  I adhered the embossed die cut to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and then wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the card front twice and tied a bow.

I stamped the sentiment from the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set in Seaside Spray ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then cut it out with one of the Tasteful Labels Dies.  I adhered the die cut sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front and added one of the Opal Rounds (available Jan 5) next to the sentiment to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment and shells from the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set in Seaside Spray, Sahara Sand, So Saffron and Blushing Bride inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
