Stampin’ Up! Sweet Strawberry Birthday Card for the Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Welcome back to another Inkin’ Krew blog hop!  Our very talented team is doing a blog hop featuring Stampin’ Up! products.  This month we are all creating projects with a “Celebrate” theme and I’m featuring the Sweet Strawberry stamp set bundle from the upcoming January-June 2021 Catalog for my project.

I started by adhering a panel from the Berry Delightful DSP (Sale-a-bration item available Jan 5) to the front of a Poppy Parade card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I cut a panel of Whisper White card stock with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies.  I inked the image from the Sweet Strawberry photopolymer stamp set (available Jan 5) in Granny Apple Green ink, stamped it on scrap paper and then stamped it on the die cut panel twice.

I stamped the strawberry, strawberry top and small flower images from the Sweet Strawberry stamp set in Poppy Parade, Granny Apple Green and Balmy Blue inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then punched them out with the coordinating Strawberry Builder Punch (available Jan 5).  I stamped the larger flower images from the Sweet Strawberry stamp set in Daffodil Delight ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then punched it out with the coordinating Small Bloom Punch.  I adhered the punched images with Glue Dots to the card front.

I adhered the rectangle die cut to a panel of Granny Apple Green card stock with Stampin’ Seal and then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I stamped the sentiment from the Sweet Strawberry stamp set in Poppy Parade ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and cut it out with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies.  I adhered the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I adhered a Rhinestone Basic Jewel on the sentiment die cut to finish it.

I adhered a strip of the Berry Delightful DSP to a panel of Whisper White card stock with Stampin’ Seal.  Then I stamped flower images from the Sweet Strawberry stamp set in Balmy Blue and Daffodil Delight inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I punched the flowers out with the Strawberry Builder Punch and Small Bloom Punch and adhered them with Glue Dots to finish the inside of the card.
