Stampin’ Up! Welcoming Window for Fab Friday

I use the Stampin’ Up! Welcoming Window stamp set bundle from the upcoming January-June 2021 Mini Catalog to create my card for the Fab Friday color challenge this week.

Here are the colors for Fab Friday 204.  Be sure to stop by the challenge blog to play along too!

I started by inking the brick image from the Welcoming Window photopolymer stamp set (available Jan 5) in Seaside Spray ink, stamping it on scrap paper and then stamping it over a panel of Whisper White card stock.  Then I cut the window and shutter images from Seaside Spray and Basic Black card stocks with the Window Flower Box Dies (available Jan 5) and adhered the pieces together and to the stamped panel with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Seaside Spray card stock with Stampin’ Seal and then to the Seaside Spray card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I cut a panel of Seaside Spray card stock with “shelf” die from the Window Flower Box Dies and adhered it with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  Then I stamped the flower pot, vase and flower images from the Welcoming Window stamp set in Seaside Spray, Terracotta Tile, Shaded Spruce, Pear Pizzazz, Blushing Bride and Poppy Parade inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I cut the images out with the coordinating dies from the Window Flower Box Dies and I adhered them with Glue Dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Welcoming Window stamp set in Poppy Parade ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then cut it out with one of the Tasteful Labels Dies.  I adhered the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the added three Rhinestone Basic Jewels to finish the card front.

I stamped the flower and vase images from the Welcoming Window stamp set in Seaside Spray, Pear Pizzazz and Blushing Bride inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock to finish the inside of the card.

You can see a list of supplies used to create this project, including the card stock cuts, at the very bottom of this blog post.

  1. This set is at the top of my wish list! Is it hard to stamp the bricks all over the card since the stamp is so small? How do you keep the lines of brick straight?

    • It’s a good one! It really wasn’t hard to stamp the bricks. Since the bricks aren’t perfectly straight or aligned, it’s pretty forgiving if you don’t get it stamped perfectly. 🙂
