I used the Stampin’ Up! Friendly Flamingo stamp set bundle from the upcoming January-June 2021 Mini Catalog to create fun card to share with you today. I also did a video tutorial for this project and you can see it on my Facebook page here and on my YouTube channel here.
My card design was inspired by Global Design Project #GDP272.
I started by adhering two panels of Oh So Ombre DSP (Sale-a-bration item, available Jan 5) to the front of a Bermuda Bay card base with Stampin’ Seal. Then I stamped the branch image twice from the Friendly Flamingo photopolymer stamp (available Jan 5) set in Granny Apple Green ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock. I cut the images out with the coordinating Flamingo Dies (available Jan 5) and then adhered them with Glue Dots over the seam in the DSP.
I cut an oval from Whisper White card stock with one of the Stitched Shapes Dies and then stamped the sentiment from the Friendly Flamingo stamp set in Bermuda Bay ink in the upper left. Then I stamped the flamingo image from the Friendly Flamingo stamp set in Rococo Rose ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock. I cut it out with the coordinating die from the Flamingo Dies and adhered it with Glue Dots to the die cut oval. I adhered the die cut oval with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.
I stamped the flower image from the Friendly Flamingo stamp set in Granny Apple Green ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then colored the flowers with Light and Dark Rococo Rose and Bermuda Bay Stampin’ Blends markers. I cut the image out with the coordinating die from the Flamingo Dies and adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals and Glue Dots to the card front. I added three Gold Glitter Enamel Dots to finish the card front.
I stamped the flamingo image and sentiment from the Friendly Flamingo stamp set in Rococo Rose and Bermuda Bay inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
