Stampin’ Up! Heal Your Heart With Daisy Lane Card With Video Tutorial

I used the Stampin’ Up! Daisy Lane and Heal Your Heart stamp sets to create a quick card to share with you today.  I also did a video tutorial for this project and you can see it on my Facebook page here and on my YouTube channel here.

My card works for The Paper Players PP522.  I used a new stamp set for the sentiment. 🙂

I started by adhering a panel of the Flower & Field DSP (Sale-a-bration item) to a panel of Basic White card stock with Stampin’ Seal.  Then I cut a panel of Basic White card stock with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies two times.  I adhered the die cuts one on top of the other with Stampin’ Seal to create a long rectangle.

I stamped the daisy image from the Daisy Lane stamp set six times in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then colored the petals with a Light Pool Party Stampin’ Blends Marker and three of the centers with a Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Marker.  I punched the flowers out with the Medium Daisy Punch, curled the petals with a Bone Folder and adhered the flowers together and to the card front with Glue Dots.  Then I adhered a length of Bumblebee 1/4″ Gingham Ribbon in a “z” between two of the flowers with Stampin’ Seal.

I stamped the sentiment from the Heal Your Heart stamp set (Sale-a-bration item) in VersaMark ink on a panel of Pool Party card stock, sprinkled it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and then heat embossed it.  I cut the sentiment out with one of the Stitched So Sweetly Dies and then adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered the layered panel to the Pool Party card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added a Rhinestone Basic Jewel next to the sentiment to finish the card front.

I adhered a strip of Flower & Field DSP to a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.

  1. I’m glad you take the time to explain about lining up a daisy petal in the daisy punch. I’ve had this set for a long time, never used, but plan to after my DSP arrives. Thank you, for the “little tips” you give in the video.

  2. Such a springy creation….a breath of fresh air during this cold winter! So pretty! Thanks so much for sharing this with us at the Players and playing with my “new” challenge this week!

  3. Amy, I love the subtle coloring of the daisies they really make me yearn for warmer weather. The embossed sentiment is perfect on the pool base. So glad you joined us at the Paper Players this week
