Stampin’ Up! Hey Chick For The Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the upcoming Stampin’ Up! Hey Chick stamp set bundle to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Here is the sketch that we’re using this week:

I started by stamping the All Wired Up stamp in Bermuda Bay ink on the front of a Bermuda Bay card base.  Then I used one of the Stitched With Whimsy Dies to emboss a panel of In Good Taste DSP.  I adhered the DSP to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.  I cut panels of Granny Apple Green and So Saffron card stock with dies from the Chick Dies (available Feb 2) and adhered them with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the DSP panel.

I stamped the chicken image from the Hey Chick stamp set (available Feb 2) in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and colored it with the Light and Dark So Saffron, Bermuda Bay and Mango Melody Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the chicken image out with the coordinating Chick Dies and adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.

I cut a panel of Crumb Cake card stock with one of the Chick Dies and then stamped the sentiment from the Hey Chick stamp set in Early Espresso ink on it.  I adhered the die cut sign with Stampin’ Dimensionals to finish the card front.

I stamped the chicken image from the Hey Chick stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and colored it with the Light and Dark So Saffron, Bermuda Bay and Mango Melody Stampin’ Blends Markers to finish the inside of the card.

You can see a list of supplies used to create this project, including the card stock cuts, at the very bottom of this blog post.
