Stampin’ Up! Sweet Strawberry Thank You Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Sweet Strawberry stamp set bundle to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Here is the sketch that we’re using this week:

My card also works for the Tic Tac Toe Challenge TTTC098.  I went down both sides and across the bottom row. 🙂

I started by adhering a panel from the Berry Delightful DSP (Sale-a-bration item) to a panel of Poppy Parade card stock with Stampin’ Seal.  I punched the end of another panel of Berry Delightful DSP with the Banner Triple Punch and then adhered the banner to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.  I wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the panel twice and tied a bow, then adhered the panel to the front of a Poppy Parade card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Sweet Strawberry photopolymer stamp set in Poppy Parade ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut it out with one of the Tasteful Labels Dies.  I adhered the die cut sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I stamped the strawberry and strawberry top outline images from the Sweet Strawberry stamp set in Garden Green and Poppy Parade inks on a panel of Basic White card stock.  I stamped the “fill-in” images in Poppy Parade and Granny Apple Green inks over the original images and then punched them out with the Strawberry Builder Punch.  I adhered the strawberry together with Glue Dots and to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and Glue Dots.

I stamped the small flower outline image from the Sweet Strawberry stamp set three times in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.  Then I colored the flower centers with a Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Marker and punched them out with the Strawberry Builder Punch.  I adhered the flowers to the card front with Glue Dots and added a single Rhinestone Basic Jewel to the strawberry to finish the card front.

I adhered a strip of Berry Delightful DSP to a Basic White card stock panel to finish the inside of the card.

You can see a list of supplies used to create this project, including the card stock cuts, at the very bottom of this blog post.

  1. Adorable card Amy, I am going to CASE this one for sure as this is my favorite DSP in the Sale A Bration catalog.

  2. A cheerful bit of summer in the dead of winter! I like it. Had more snow yesterday and more predicted tomorrow and Sunday, as well as frigid (below zero) temps for the next few days. Love those strawberries!

    • Thanks Julie! We had 30″ of snow earlier this week plus another 1″ today and we’re supposed to get snow again on Sunday. Yikes! I feel like I’m back in Iowa again!! 🙂
