Stampin’ Up! Springtime Joy Welcome Spring Card With Video Tutorial

I used the cute Springtime Joy stamp set from Stampin’ Up! to create a spring card to share with you today.  I also did a video tutorial for this project and you can see it on my YouTube channel here.

I started by adhering a panel from the Paper Blooms DSP (Sale-a-bration item) to the front of a Thick Basic White card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I adhered a smaller strip of the Paper Blooms DSP to a strip of Seaside Spray card stock and then to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

I cut a panel of Oh So Ombre DSP (Sale-a-bration item) with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies and then stamped the flower and butterfly images from the Springtime Joy stamp set in Rococo Rose ink across the panel.  I adhered the die cut panel to a panel of Rococo Rose card stock with Stampin’ Seal.  Then I wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the panel twice and tied a bow.  I adhered the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the lamb image from the Springtime Joy stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then colored it with Light and Dark Soft Sea Foam, Rococo Rose, Seaside Spray and Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I added a little shading on the sheep image with a Light Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Marker and the Color Lifter.  I cut the image out with one of the Stitched Shapes Dies and adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Springtime Joy stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Seaside Spray card stock, sprinkled it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and then heat embossed it.  I cut the sentiment out with one of the Tasteful Labels Dies and adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I added a single Rhinestone Basic Jewel to the sentiment to finish the card.

I adhered a strip of Paper Blooms DSP to the bottom of a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
