Stampin’ Up! Simply Succulents Thank You Card for Fab Friday

I used the Stampin’ Up! Simply Succulents stamp set bundle to create a quick thank you card for the Fab Friday color challenge this week.

Here are the colors for Fab Friday 208.  Be sure to stop by the challenge blog to play along too!

My card also works for the Hand Stamped Sentiments Inspiration Challenge 358.

I started by adhering a panel of Mint Macaron DSP from the Subtles 6″ x 6″ DSP pack to the front of a Mint Macaron card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I adhered a small strip of In Good Taste DSP to another panel of In Good Taste DSP with Stampin’ Seal and I cut the DSP with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies.  I adhered the die cut panel to a panel of Highland Heather card stock with Stampin’ Seal and then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the flowerpot and succulent images from the Simply Succulents stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.  I colored the flowerpot with Light and Dark Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blends and also used the Color Lifter to create the lighter line.  I colored the succulent image with the Light and Dark Mossy Meadow, Mint Macaron and Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends Markers and then cut both images with the coordinating Potted Succulents Dies.  I wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the flowerpot twice, securing it on the back with a Mini Glue Dots and tied a bow.

I adhered the succulents and flowerpot images together with Mini Glue Dots and to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I stamped the sentiment from the Simply Succulents stamp set in Highland Heather ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut around it with one of the Potted Succulents Dies.  I adhered the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added three Rhinestone Basic Jewels to finish the card front.

I stamped the succulent image from the Simply Succulents stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then colored them with Light and Dark Mint Macaron and Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends Markers to finish the inside of the card.

  1. Wow I love how you used the dsp for the background of your card. Very Clever! So glad you played with us at Hand Stamped Sentiments.
