I used the Stampin’ Up! Butterfly Brilliance stamp set bundle and the By The Dock stamp set to create a birthday card to share with you today.  I also did a video tutorial for this project and you can see it on my Facebook page here and on my YouTube channel here.

My card design was inspired by Mojo Monday 554.

I started by adhering a panel from the Butterfly Bijou 6″ x 6″ DSP to the front of a Bermuda Bay card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I cut a panel of Natural Touch Specialty Paper with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies and I adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.  I cut three squares from White Vellum card stock with one of the Stitched Shapes Dies and then adhered them to the card front with Stampin’ Seal under the centers.

I cut butterflies from the Butterfly Bijou DSP with the coordinating die from the Brilliant Wings Dies and then adhered three of the butterflies to the card front with Glue Dots.  I stamped the sentiment from the By The Dock stamp set in VersaMark Ink on a panel of Basic White card stock, sprinkled it with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and then heat embossed it.  I cut the sentiment out with the square die from the Stitched Shapes Dies and adhered it with Stampin’ Seal to the card front.

I added three of the Gold Glitter Enamel Dots next to the sentiment to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Happiest of Birthdays stamp set in Bermuda Bay ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then added a strip of Butterfly Bijou DSP along the bottom edge with Stampin’ Seal.  I adhered one of the other die cut butterflies with Stampin’ Seal to finish the inside of the card.
