I used the Stampin’ Up! Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and this is what I made for it.
Here is the sketch that we’re using this week:
I started by adhering a panel of Whale Of A Time 6″ x 6″ DSP to the front of a Pacific Point card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then I cut another panel of Whale Of A Time DSP with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies. I cut the rectangle in half and adhered the two pieces to the card front with Stampin’ Seal so that they were near the right and left edges.
I cut another panel of the Whale Of A Time DSP with another one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies and I adhered it to a panel of Just Jade card stock with Stampin’ Seal and then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I placed a piece of 1-1/2″ Metallic Mesh Ribbon on a piece of scrap paper and then tapped the VersaMark ink pad over it. I sprinkled the mesh with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and then quickly heat embossed it (being very careful not to overheat it). I adhered the ribbon to the card front with Stampin’ Seal hidden under the area where the sentiment is attached.
I stamped the sentiment from the Friends Are Like Seashells photopolymer stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Just Jade card stock, sprinkled it with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and then heat embossed it. I cut the sentiment out with one of the Tasteful Labels Dies and adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added three gold pearls from the Metallic Pearls pack to finish the card front.
I stamped the sentiment from the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set in Pacific Point ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then added a strip of Whale Of A Time DSP to the panel to finish the inside of the card.
