Stampin’ Up! Springtime Joy Hello Spring Card for the Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Welcome back to another Inkin’ Krew blog hop!  Our very talented team is doing a blog hop featuring Stampin’ Up! products.  This month we are all creating projects with a “spring” theme and I’m featuring the upcoming Springtime Joy stamp set bundle for my project.

Stampin' Up! Springtime Joy Hello Spring Card

The spring theme for my card works for The Paper Players PP531.

I started by adhering a narrow strip of Daffodil Delight DSP from the Brights 6″ x 6″ DSP pack to a panel of Basic White card stock with Stampin’ Seal.  Then I adhered a panel of Coastal Cabana DSP from the Brights DSP pack to the other side of the Basic White card stock panel.  I wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the panel twice and tied a bow, then adhered the layered panel to a Coastal Cabana card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the lamb, butterfly and flower images from the Springtime Joy stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then colored the images with Light and Dark Granny Apple Green, Daffodil Delight, Petal Pink and Pool Party Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I also added a bit of color from the Light Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Marker and then colored over it with the Color Lifter to add shading to the wool.  I cut around the images with one of the Stitched Shapes Dies and then adhered it with Stampin Dimensionals to the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Springtime Joy stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Daffodil Delight card stock, sprinkled it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and then heat embossed it.  I cut the sentiment out with one of the Tasteful Labels Dies and adhered it with Stampin’ Seal and Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I added three of the paper flowers from the Boho Indigo Product Medley Refill Kit, using Glue Dots to adhere them to finish the card front.

I adhered a strip of Coastal Cabana DSP to a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
