I used the Stampin’ Up! In Bloom stamp set bundle to create a congratulations card to share with you today. I did a light whitewash technique on the background and I showed you how I did the whitewash and how I created the card in a video on my Facebook page here and on my YouTube channel here.
The flowers on my card were inspired by The Spot Challenge #155.
I started by embossing a panel of Crumb Cake card stock with the Pinewood Planks 3D Embossing Folder. I used a Sponge Dauber and the Whisper White Craft Stampin’ Refill to lightly brush over the embossed panel. I adhered the embossed panel to a slightly larger panel of Crumb Cake card stock with Stampin’ Seal and then to the front of a Seaside Spray card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I cut the flowers and leaves from Seaside Spray, Pear Pizzazz and So Saffron card stocks with the Pierced Blooms Dies and then adhered the die cut pieces together and to the card front (once the Whisper White Stampin’ Craft ink had dried) with Glue Dots. The largest flower was adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the sentiment from the In Bloom photopolymer stamp set in Seaside Spray ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut it out with one of the Pierced Blooms Dies. I adhered the die cut sentiment with Stampin’ Seal to the card front and then added three of the Seaside Spray Pastel Pearls around the flowers to finish the card front.
I stamped the flower images from the In Bloom stamp set in Seaside Spray and So Saffron inks on a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
