Stampin’ Up! Beauty Of Friendship Hello Card With Video Tutorial

I used the Stampin’ Up! Beauty Of Friendship stamp set bundle from the upcoming 2021-2022 Annual Catalog to create a quick card to share with you today.  I also did a video tutorial for this card on YouTube live and you can see it here.

Stampin' Up! Beauty Of Friendship Hello Card

My card design was loosely inspired by Global Design Project #GDP286.

I started by cutting a circle from the center of a 4-1/4″ 5-1/2″ panel of scrap paper.  I used Post-It Note Tape to adhere the “negative” from the die cut to the Thick Basic White card front and I used one of the Blending Brushes and Daffodil Delight ink to the center of the card front.  I removed the mask and then placed the die cut circle over the Daffodil Delight inked circle on the card front and the used another Blending Brush and Pool Party ink to ink the remainder of the background.

I adhered a small strip of Crumb Cake card stock to the bottom of the card front with Stampin’ Seal and then cut two panels of Beauty Of The Earth DSP (available May 4) with the tree and leaves dies from the Beautiful Trees Dies (available May 4).  I adhered the die cut pieces to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (you can also use Adhesive Sheets if you apply them before cutting) and then trimmed the overhang even with the edge of the card.

I wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the card front twice and tied a small bow and then stamped the sentiment from the Beauty of Friendship photopolymer stamp (available May 4) set in Early Espresso ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.  I cut the sentiment out with one of the Beautiful Trees Dies and adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I added a single Rhinestone Basic Jewel to the sentiment panel to finish it.

I stamped the tree images from the Beauty Of Friendship stamp set in Early Espresso, Old Olive and Crumb Cake inks on a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
