Stampin’ Up! Timeless Tropical Birthday Card With Video Tutorial

I used the Stampin’ Up! Timeless Tropical stamp set and coordinating In The Tropics Dies to create a bright birthday card to share with you today.  I also did a video tutorial for this card on YouTube live and you can see it here.

My card design was inspired by Hand Stamped Sentiments Sketch Challenge #362.

My card also works for the Tic Tac Toe Challenge TTTC111.  I went diagonal from lower left to upper right and straight across the bottom.

I started by adhering a panel from the Pattern Party DSP (host exclusive, available May 4) to a panel of Basic Black card stock with Stampin’ Seal.  Then I adhered the layered panel to the front of a Polished Pink card base (card stock available May 4) with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut a circle from Basic White card stock and a scalloped circle from Polished Pink card stock with dies from the Layering Circles Dies and then adhered the die cut circles together and to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.  I stamped the flower and leaf images from the Timeless Tropical stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then colored them with Light and Dark Polished Pink, Soft Succulent and Pale Papaya Stampin’ Blends Markers (all available May 4).  I cut the stamped images with the coordinating In The Tropics Dies and then adhered the flower with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the leaves with Mini Glue Dots to the card front.

I folded and adhered a small length of Soft Succulent 3/8″ Open Weave Ribbon (available May 4) with Stampin’ Seal and then stamped the sentiment from the Timeless Tropical stamp set in Polished Pink ink (available May 4) on a panel of Basic White card stock.  I cut the sentiment out with one of the Stitched So Sweetly Dies and then adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I added one of the Black Matte Dots to the sentiment panel to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Timeless Tropical stamp set in Polished Pink in on a panel of Basic White card stock and then added a strip of the Pattern Party DSP to finish the inside of the card.
