I used the Stampin’ Up! Dragonfly Garden stamp set to create a friend card for the Sunday Stamps sketch challenge this week.

Here is the sketch for Sunday Stamps SSC256.  Be sure to stop by the challenge blog to play along too!

I started by stamping a panel of In Good Taste DSP with the butterfly image from the Dragonfly Garden stamp set in Soft Suede ink.  I adhered the stamped panel to the front of a Sahara Sand card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I adhered a panel of Fresh Freesia DSP from the 2021-2023 In Color DSP (available May 4) pack to a panel of Fresh Freesia card stock (available May 4) and then to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.  I wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the card front twice and tied a small bow.

I stamped the flower image from the Dragonfly Garden stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then colored it with Light and Dark So Saffron, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Fresh Freesia (available May 4) and Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the panel out with one of the Ornate Layers Dies and then adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Dragonfly Garden stamp set in Fresh Freesia ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut it out with one of the openings in the Messages Die.  I adhered the die cut sentiment with Stampin’ Seal and then added a Rhinestone Basic Jewel to the sentiment to finish the card front.

I adhered a strip of Fresh Freesia DSP to the bottom of a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
