Stampin’ Up! Artistically Inked Hello Card

I used the beautiful new Artistically Inked stamp set bundle from Stampin’ Up! to create a quick hello card to share with you today.

Stampin' Up! Artistically Inked Hello Card

My card design is loosely inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #484.

I started by embossing a panel of Basic White card stock with the Macrame 3D Embossing Folder.  I adhered the embossed panel to a larger panel of Basic White card stock with Stampin’ Seal and then to the front of a Thick Basic White card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I inked the small flower image from the Artistically Inked stamp set in Polished Pink ink, stamped it on scrap paper and then stamped it on a panel of Basic White card stock.  I stamped the dot image from the Artistically Inked stamp set ink Sahara Sand ink around the Polished Pink image.  I cut around the images with one of the Hippo & Friends Dies and then adhered it with Stampin’ Seal to the card front.  I stamped the sentiment from the Artistically Inked stamp set in VersaMark Ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then embossed it with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder from the Metallics Embossing Powders.  I cut the sentiment out with one of the dies from the Hippo & Friends Dies and then adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Seal to the card front.

I stamped the flowers and leaves from the Artistically Inked stamp set in Pale Papaya and Pear Pizzazz inks twice each on a panel of Basic White card stock.  I cut the images out with the coordinating Artistic Dies and then adhered one flower and both sets of leaves with Mini Glue Dots.  I adhered the top flower with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added one of the gold die cuts with a Glue Dot and three of the adhesive-backed sequins from Expressions in Ink Ephemera Pack to finish the card front.

  1. I love this card! That embossing makes a wonderful statement! I love your take on the sketch, making the die cut part of the background and not the focal point. Very creative. TFS

  2. This is such a great card Amy! Those flowers are so pretty and that textured background is fabulous! Thanks for joining us this week at Freshly Made Sketches!
