Stampin’ Up! Feels Like Home Friendship Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Feels Like Home Sale-a-bration exclusive stamp set to create my card to share today.

Stampin' Up! Feels Like Home Friendship Card

My card design was inspired by The Paper Players Challenge 551.

I started by adhering a panel from the Beautifully Penned DSP (Sale-a-bration exclusive available August 3) to a panel of Basic Black card stock with Stampin’ Seal and then to the front of a Highland Heather card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I cut another panel of Beautifully Penned DSP three times with one of the openings in the Picture This Dies.  I cut one of the panels in half and then adhered the three die cuts with Stampin’ Seal to the card front.  The panel that was cut in half was adhered with about 1/4″ gap between the two pieces.

Then I stamped the image from the Feels Like Home stamp set (Sale-a-bration item available August 3) in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then colored it with Light and Dark Pool Party, Highland Heather, Soft Sea Foam, So Saffron, Pale Papaya and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I stamped the sentiment from the Feels Like Home stamp set in Highland Heather ink under the first image and then cut the panel with one of the Tailor Made Tags Dies.

I cut a panel of Hand-Penned DSP (on sale through August 2 for 15% off) with the same tag die from the Tailor Made Tags Dies and then adhered the two die cuts together with Stampin’ Seal.  I pulled a length of Black & White 1/4″ Gingham Ribbon (available August 3) through the top of the tags and tied a knot.  I adhered the tags to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added three Matte Black Dots to finish the card front.

I stamped the flower image from the Feels Like Home stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then colored the images with Light and Dark Highland Heather, Soft Sea Foam, Pale Papaya and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Markers to finish the inside of the card.

  1. I just love double tags on the front of card bases! This is so pretty Amy! The soft coloring and purple tag is beautiful! Thanks for being with us at The Paper Players!

  2. Beautiful color choice, Amy! I love the polka dots paired with the gingham ribbon. How creative to use tags for the focal panel! Thank you for playing in my sketch challenge at The Paper Players this week!
