I used the Stampin’ Up! Gorgeous stamp set bundle and the Pretty Pumpkins stamp set to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. We’ve got a theme challenge this week and this is what I made for it.
Here is the theme that we’re using this week:
My card design was inspired by Global Design Project #GDP312.
I started by stamping the woodgrain image from the Gorgeous Leaves stamp set in Crumb Cake ink on a panel of Crumb Cake card stock. Then I stamped the leaf image from the Gorgeous Leaves stamp set in Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze and Soft Suede inks on the Crumb Cake panel.
Then I stamped the sentiment from the Pretty Pumpkins stamp set in VersaMark ink on the Crumb Cake card stock panel, sprinkled the image with copper embossing powder from the Metallics Embossing Powders and then heat embossed it. I adhered the panel to the front of the Crumb Cake card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the leaf image from the Gorgeous Leaves stamp set in Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry and Soft Suede inks on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut the images out with the coordinating Intricate Leaves Dies. I adhered the Cajun Craze and Soft Suede leaves with Mini Glue Dots and the Crushed Curry leaf with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front. I added three Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card front to finish it.
I stamped the woodgrain image from the Gorgeous Leaves stamp set in Crumb Cake ink and the leaf in Cajun Craze ink on a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
