I used the Stampin’ Up! Evergreen Elegance stamp set to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. We’ve got a theme challenge this week and this is what I made for it.
Here is the theme that we’re using this week:
I started by cutting a strip of Post It Note Tape with the border die from the Inspiring Canopy Dies. I adhered the die cut strip to a panel of Basic White card stock and then used Blending Brushes to add Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay, Misty Moonlight and Night of Navy inks to the upper area of the panel.
I stamped the tree images from the Evergreen Elegance stamp set in Night Of Navy ink across the upper area of the panel. Then I cut another strip of Post It Note Tape with the border die from the Inspiring Canopy Dies and used a Blending Brush to add Smoky Slate ink to the lower area on the card. I let the panel dry completely and then stamped the tree image from the Evergreen Elegance stamp set and snow from the Time Of Giving photopolymer stamp set in VersaMark ink and heat embossed the images with white embossing powder from the Basics Embossing Powders.
I stamped the sentiment from the Evergreen Elegance stamp set in Real Red ink on the panel and then adhered the stamped panel to the front of a Thick Basic White card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I added Rhinestone Basic Jewels over the embossed tree to finish the card front.
I stamped the sentiment and tree images from the Evergreen Elegance stamp set in Real Red and Night of Navy inks on a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
