Stampin’ Up! Whimsical Trees for the Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Welcome back to another Inkin’ Krew blog hop!  Our very talented team is doing a blog hop featuring Stampin’ Up! products.  This month we are all creating projects with a holiday theme and I’m featuring the Whimsical Trees stamp set bundle for my project.

Stampin' Up! Whimsical Trees

My card design was inspired by the sketch from SugarPea Mix It Up Challenge 85.

I started by embossing a panel of Basic White card stock with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder and then adhered the embossed panel to the Thick Basic White card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I cut panels of Silver Foil Specialty Pack with the tree die from the Christmas Trees Dies and adhered them to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I adhered a small piece of Adhesive Sheets to the back of a panel of Gold Foil Sheets and then I cut the panel with the star die from the Christmas Trees Dies two times.  I used the Adhesive Sheets to adhere the star die cuts to the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Whimsical Trees stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Basic White card stock, sprinkled it with gold embossing powder from the Metallics Embossing Powders pack and then heat embossed it.  I cut the sentiment out with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies and then adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.

I stamped the sentiment and trees from the Whimsical Trees stamp set in Soft Suede and Smoky Slate inks on a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
