I got my November Paper Pumpkin Kit from Stampin’ Up! in the mail yesterday and I dug right in and put it together! The kit is called Gifts Galore and it was designed to create 9 cute treat boxes for the holidays. I created 3 of the boxes as intended and turned the other six into cards!
The treat boxes are so cute and they go together really quickly! The boxes included cellophane bags that you can fill up with goodies too!
The kit included the Gifts Galore exclusive photopolymer stamp set and a Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Spot as well as all of the materials needed to make the 9 treat boxes.
Each treat box had a tag and the twine to tie the bags closed too.
Love the fun snowman!
And the stack of present box is really sweet too!
Since I generally tend to need more cards than treat boxes, I used the remaining pieces to create some fun Christmas cards! I simply took the front and back pieces for each box, adhered them together in a small area along the left edge and then put the two pieces together to make a card!
As you can likely see, fronts and backs didn’t line up perfectly since they weren’t symmetrical, but they were close enough and such fun designs that I thought it still worked! The finished cards are just under 5″ x 7″, so they’ll fit in a standard sized envelope for mailing with just one stamp. Yay!
I stamped the sentiment from the Holly Jolly Wishes stamp set in Flirty Flamingo ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut it out with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies to add a space to write inside each card.
