Stampin’ Up! On The Horizon Birthday Card for the Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Welcome back to another Inkin’ Krew blog hop! Our very talented team is doing a blog hop featuring Stampin’ Up! products. This month we are all creating projects with a birthday theme and I’m featuring the On The Horizon stamp set for my project. My card is a bit of a CASE of one of the cards from the January-June 2022 Mini Catalog.

Stampin' Up! On The Horizon Birthday Card

My card design was inspired by CAS On Friday #224.

I started by embossing a panel of New Horizons DSP with the Evergreen Forest 3D Embossing Folder. Then I used a Sponge Dauber to add Old Olive ink over the embossed trees. I stamped the bird image from the On The Horizon stamp set in Early Espresso ink on the DSP panel and then adhered the embossed panel to a panel of Early Espresso card stock with Stampin’ Seal.

I adhered the layered DSP panel to the front of an Old Olive card base with Stampin’ Seal and then adhered a length of Early Espresso 1/4″ Faux Suede Trim with Stampin’ Seal to the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the On The Horizon stamp set in Old Olive ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut it out with one of the Hippo & Friends Dies. I adhered the die cut sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front and then added three silver pearls from the Metallic Pearls pack to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Artfully Layered stamp set in Old Olive stamp set on a panel of Basic White card stock and then embossed the bottom of the panel with the Evergreen Forest 3D Embossing Folder to finish the inside of the card.
