Stampin’ Up! Garden Wishes Birthday Card With Video Tutorial

I used the Stampin’ Up! Garden Wishes stamp set bundle to create a birthday card to share with you today.  I also did a video tutorial for this card and you can see it on my YouTube channel here.

Stampin' Up! Garden Wishes Birthday Card

I started by adhering a panel of Artfully Composed DSP to the front of a Just Jade card base (card stock retiring May 2) with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I cut a panel of Heart & Home DSP with one of the Basic Borders Dies and then adhered the DSP panel to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped the dandelion and bee images from the Garden Wishes stamp set (on sale for 20% off during March, retiring May 2) in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then colored the images with Light and Dark Daffodil Delight and Just Jade (retiring May 2) Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the images out with the coordinating Dandy Wishes Dies (on sale for 20% off during March, retiring May 2) and adhered the die cuts with Mini Glue Dots tot he card front.

I adhered a small length of Just Jade ribbon from the Flowers For Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack (retiring May 2) to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.  Then I stamped the sentiment from the Dragonfly Garden stamp set in Just Jade ink (retiring May 2) on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut the image out with one of the Hippo & Friends Dies (retiring May 2).  I adhered the die cut to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added three 2020-2022 In Color Square Gems (retiring May 2) to finish the card front.

  1. So pretty, Amy. I love your color choices and use of that border die. I laughed at the irony of “good things growing” with the dandelions…i spend too much time digging them up to think of them as good things! 🤣
