I used the Stampin’ Up! Cottage stamp set and some of the beautiful Abigail Rose DSP to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and this is what I made for it.
Here is the sketch that we’re using this week:
I started by embossing a panel of Crumb Cake card stock with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder. I adhered the embossed panel to the front of a Crumb Cake card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
I cut panels of Abigail Rose DSP with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies. I adhered the die cut panels with Stampin’ Seal to the card front. Then I stamped the sentiment from the Cottage Rose stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Petal Pink card stock, sprinkled it with white embossing powder from the Basics Embossing Powders and then heat embossed it.
I inked the leaf image from the Cottage Rose stamp set in Crumb Cake ink, stamped it on scrap paper and then stamped it over the sentiment. I cut the sentiment out with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies and then adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front. I added two of the Rustic Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots to finish the card front.
I stamped the leaf image three times in Crumb Cake ink across the bottom of a Basic White card stock panel to finish the inside of the card.
You can see a list of supplies used to create this project, including the card stock cuts, at the very bottom of this blog post.
