I used the Stampin’ Up! Potted Geraniums stamp set bundle to create a birthday card to share with you today. I did a video tutorial for this card on Facebook Live yesterday and you can see it here. You can also see the video on YouTube here.
I started by adhering a panel of Lovely Linen DSP to the front of an Evening Evergreen card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then I cut panels of Lovely Linen DSP and Basic White card stock with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies. I inked the shadow image (that I later realized was supposed to be “dirt”) from the Potted Geraniums photopolymer stamp set in Gray Granite ink, stamped it on scrap paper and then stamped it on the Basic White die cut. I adhered the two die cuts together and then to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.
I stamped the geranium leaf images from the Potted Geraniums stamp set in Evening Evergreen and Soft Succulent inks and the flower images in Sweet Sorbet (stamped off once for the more solid image) ink on a panel of Basic White card stock. I stamped the flowerpot and sign images in Crumb Cake, Pale Papaya and Sweet Sorbet inks on the Basic White card stock panel and then cut the images out with the coordinating Geraniums Dies. I adhered the die cuts to the card front with Mini Glue Dots.
I stamped the sentiment from the Potted Geraniums stamp set in Sweet Sorbet ink on Basic White card stock and then cut it out with one of the Geraniums Dies. I adhered the die cut sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front and then added three Brushed Brass Butterflies to finish it.
I stamped the sentiment from the Potted Geraniums stamp set in Evening Evergreen ink and then added a strip of Lovely Linen DSP to a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
