I used the Stampin’ Up! Butterfly Brilliance stamp set and coordinating Brilliant Wings Dies to create a birthday card to share with you today.

My card design was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #546.

My card also works for the Tic Tac Toe Challenge #TTTC172.  I went straight across the top.

I started by inking the image from the Butterfly Brilliance stamp set in Gray Granite ink, stamping it with the Stamparatus on scrap paper and then stamping it on the front of a Thick Basic White card base.  I stamped the Butterfly Brilliance image again in Gray Granite ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then colored the large butterfly with Light and Dark Pale Papaya, So Saffron and Gray Granite Stampin’ Blends Markers and the two smaller butterflies with Light Pale Papaya and Light Gray Granite Stampin’ Blends Markers.

I used the Color Lifter to lighten the ink on the two smaller butterfly images and then cut the images out with the coordinating die from the Brilliant Wings Dies.  I adhered the two smaller butterflies with Stampin’ Seal and the larger butterfly with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Cottage Rose stamp set in Gray Granite ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut around it with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies.  I adhered the die cut sentiment with Stampin’ Seal to the card front and then added two Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels to finish it.

I stamped the Butterfly Brilliance image in Gray granite ink along the edge of a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
